Digital designer and illustrator Muhammed Salah I opened up to him revealing my true self– full of countless shadows. I let him see it all hiding nothing away white, black and grey. I trusted himnot because he would keep them at bay but because I knew he wasn’t afraid of darkness.

A 9th Letter from Secrets
Hey you, let me start by saying that this letter is thanks to Navaparna from The Passionate Learner. She has nominated me for the Blogger Recognition Award. Answering the award questions and nominating other people aren’t things I feel comfortable doing, but I want to honour Navaparna and the sentiment behind the award. Therefore, IContinueContinue reading “A 9th Letter from Secrets”
Still Here
I wish you could understandhow grateful I am that you’re still here. I know you thought about leaving– ending it all and escaping the pain but you didn’t. You were so brave and you fought on. I thank God constantly that you’re still here. You are still here to laugh with me, teach me, and helpContinueContinue reading “Still Here”
Out of love
It’s amazing what questions your honesty brings, Just let me ask you the following things. Can you help me solve the mystery? Just how are you now in misery? Was there one particular moment Or one specific trying component? Was it a slow build up over time? Was my not noticing part of the crime?Did you lookContinueContinue reading “Out of love”
Faded

I start fading from the midnight of her eyesas she turns back to her sun.I start fadinginto the blackness of her pain, forgotten as theContinueContinue reading “Faded”
Two poets falling
I watched them fall in love—it was beautiful in sweetness and passion.A delight in discovery, Souls united in sight and loneliness.Lost and found within each other.Words dug themselves out of the deep, landing into opened hands.Treasures to behold, the treasure of each other to hold. From morning thoughts of each other to late night yawns fromContinueContinue reading “Two poets falling”
Broken (collab with audio)
Image from Pinterest You broke my heart in so many ways but I never told you about any of them. I covered them up with humour and laughed at it instead. I hoped you’d never hear the ache in my voice during all the times we talked. I smiled so you’d never see the lonelinessContinueContinue reading “Broken (collab with audio)”
Warning doubts
There is a warning bell ringing…I begin to doubt your friendship offering,Because my heart has started suffering.Intuition has decided to ring the alarm,And the hairs are rising on my arm.My mind understands not all is as appears,Perhaps it’s time to look into my fears. You drew me in and made me stay,With all the jokes andContinueContinue reading “Warning doubts”
Another life
Free from the trammels of my mind I followed the rainbow of my imagination finally allowing myself to find the pot of gold at the end. It was You. For a few moments I gave myself permission to chase down the dreams of another life and what it would be like. A cold Christmas. AContinueContinue reading “Another life”
Rubied Stars
Photo by Andre Moura on Pexels.com Like stargazing— the anticipation of discovery, my bare skin lays before you. Prepare your eyes to capture sights others won’t see in the light of day. My rubied freckles, your personal constellations, are often hidden from view. But tonight, I want you to find them. Using the cosmic dust sprinkled on myContinueContinue reading “Rubied Stars”
