Trigger Warning: sexual violence
Are there any safe places out there?
Women don’t feel safe walking at night
Last week, a woman was raped three times and
almost drowned during the morning light
Are there any safe men out there?
The victims of Epstein and churches
scream on the streets
Their abusers, where are they?
O, protected by the other elites
For every champion
a new horrifying story breaks
Those you once thought safe turned out to be fake
Faith grows weaker
Who can be trusted?
Are any men safe?
Will our view be adjusted?
Yet through all the madness
I know who you are
Out of all the men
you have caused no scar
Despite the narcissistic chairman
and fraudulent orators
I see your heart
and I know your character
So, when I cry out for safety
uncertain where it may lie
I search all the faces
and know… you’re the guy

This post is timely.

This shows great perspective: a very outward-inward focused poem. Such a dark subject matter handled expertly. Well done as always.
