And so ends my mini ‘poetry party’ celebrating one year blogging. I decided to end it with something slightly different, because I find joy in discovering new ways to express my secret thoughts.

    1. Oh thank you VB. It’s always a risk, but I was chatting with a poet recently and asked him how he stayed ‘fresh’ and he encouraged me to always push and try new things. 💜

  3. that is a really lovely poem;I love the similes — something went awry in the boat stanza but I got the gist; the first stanza is a stunning introduction; I;m impressed by this as you are by my post 🙂
