By Cassa Bassa and Bree Leto
An exhausted heart,
asking no more for rain
A shameful shadow
deserving no reprieve from disdain
A drip,
running down from the heavens to my soul
A refreshment,
replenishing the drought within me
A book,
doing just that to rescue me
A story,
unfolding before my eyes
making my heart sing again
amazing, the last stanza, bree, love it

Is gorgeous, Cassa, and Bree. The whole of the poem, and the first stanza is magic.

Very nice Bree and Cassa π Very interesting how the first two lines and the last two lines of each stanza diverge yet create a coherent flow π Good one!
