I thought I might share some news with you… my poem Rainstorm has been published in The League of Poets, The Voice of Peace Australian Anthology. This tiny regional publication is part of a larger international poetry and short story competition receiving 8,909 submissions. It’s a bit fun to be included.

I should have said poetry form. You write so many, but surely you have a preference.

Not really. Things pop into my head, sometimes they have a clear form.
I guess, quatrains, couplets and senryü. Not because I prefer them but because they come naturally. An unconcious preference 🤣

Honestly it probably depends on whichever way my poetic muse drags me 😏 But usually quatrains or free-verse are probably where I go to for the same reasons you mentioned 😁
