Blue horizon

I treasure the solitude of standing in the waves
and looking at a mirrored horizon.
It lifts my soul and reminds me
that there are so many directions
my heart can go.

  7. Oh, Secrets, I so loved this!! Such a great capture of walking in the surf and feeling the waves coming in and then receding while in the solitude and beauty and wonder of the shoreline! It leaves you with such a peaceful – easy feeling in your soul to be wading at the shoreline. Bellissimo, Secrets Bellissimo!!!

    Oh, you know what would really be cool with this? Having the beginning with one of those white noises of the surf before you start recording and then lower it a bit and then ending with an extended ending with the same sounds as the beginning with maybe the sound of a seagull?? Hmmm? Sorry. I just love listening and visualizing! Just me, Dear!

    1. I’ve glad you captured the feeling of this piece.

      Unfortunately I lack the recording talent/knowledge to add any sound effects etc. to my spoken word pieces. My current process is extremely simple haha. It is a great idea though 👍
