By Charles Robert Lindholm and Bree Leto
I’ve never been one to enjoy a storm
despite its fascination and excitement,
the lightning and thunder
and the pounding of raindrops
But that’s what you were
to me last night.
You were the storm
wreaking havoc on my senses,
challenging me
and daring me
to come and chase you
And, for the first time, I did.
I ran straight out into the fury
feeling the rain,
and the wet,
getting drenched to the core
as you swiftly wrapped yourself around me.
I felt the full force of your wild nature
and fast-moving fingers.
I screamed into the wind
from the thrill of it all,
not wanting it to stop.
Something amazing happened to me
while we were wrapped
and bonded together,
discovering pleasures
and unleashing cravings…
it changed me
Before I met you,
I never enjoyed storms
but now I have become addicted
to chasing the storm
that is you.

Oh thank you Radhika. Chuck has a clear vision for the emotions that he wanted to portray and I’m glad to hear that we accomplished that. ‘Drenched passion’ is the perfect description 💜

You believe it or not but yesterday I was talking to a fellow blogger and I told them, I feel bad that when Bree followed me, I cut short the followers not knowing what a wonderful poet she is, and I was telling them I don’t know if I’ll ever hear from.her on my post, and see right next day, I see your notification on my blog. I cannot be any more happy Bree. You made my day with your presence on my blog. You literally graced it with your comment 💛
And I’m so so sorry for not knowing you enough earlier.

Oh Rashmi, you have such a beautiful soft heart 💜💜💜 I have tried to look you up a few times, but your page was always private and I couldn’t view it until I tried again yesterday 😁 Really don’t feel bad! You know I have also cut about 150 followers in the past and a few of those re-followed me straight away and I felt terrible 😅 I just didn’t know if they were really genuine accounts! I also remember when you decided to make the change, I went looking for you when your posts stopped appearing, but saw your reasonings so I didn’t re-follow you out of respect. There is nothing but understanding on my end 💜💜💜💜💜

Exactly, you got it so right. Quite alike your WordPress icon is another icon but when I tried to view, it turned to be a guy, so I don’t understand it through their user names and icon whether they are male or female or if the account is genuine or not.
But thank you for following it back, your comments make a difference. I smile looking at them.
It was private for 3 months unless I decided to start writing again.
Welcome to my blog Bree💛

Outstanding! Something to read and read again! Wonderful words weaved together. Those last two stanzas wrapped everything up nicely but it also went beyond that. This is good! Applause for you both! Poetry at it’s finest, I think!
