Escape

I escape.
Writing on the pages of my mind, racing to create a utopia.
A world more lovely and calm.
A world filled with apex creations.
Sorrow can’t find me here.
I’ll erase the heavy weights from my life.
I’ll write in yellows and greens, maybe a touch of purple.
For a moment I find a sublime reprieve.
I linger.
I return.
I’ll be back.
