I watched the quiet sunset from my tiny balcony–
no dusty pinks or vibrant oranges
Is that an ‘icy grey’?
Does that blue have a name?
Would one call that ‘not quite purple?’
I wished I’d a painter with me
to name the subtle greys, fading blue and whispers of purple
Instead, I was grateful
I was present enough to enjoy
colours I couldn’t name
Woah. This is exceptional! Great second stanza, really heightens everything and connects it all.

Thanks so much, Ben. I was inspired by an uninspiring sunset.

Oh, thanks. I wasn’t sure about it, so thanks for this… It’s a little bit of encouragement 😊
