A raw heart
cut by reality
needing healing
needing soothing
A cup of tea
in the morning sun
crisp air
gentle breeze
bird songs
Chirps and calls
delicate melodies
endless blue skies
dancing leaves
Heal these human wounds
soothe this battered heart
A sip of tea
comfort in a cup
bathe in the view
let it wash away the sorrow
What heals your heart?

as per graham. YOU BLEEDING!

It seems tea and verse are your balms Bre. Mine are nature and kindness.

An intricately woven piece of poetry, Bree … sorry I’ve not been here much Bree … my blogsite seems to be too overwhelming for me these days … I’ll be 74 in July, and I’m either too tired or too slow (probably both)

I completely understand. There is only so much we can do in a day. I am not turning 74 in July and I also get overwhelmed at times. Thanks for stopping by 💜

whispers in breezes, bellows in great winds (which, living in Oklahoma, also tend to whip about from time to time reminding me of my frailty), blissful shouts and songs of birds, water, and the sky

Nature and tea are incredible tools if you want to heal. Now in my late thirties, after battling stomach problems and anxiety, I think I’m going to give up coffee and shift to tea!

Not the coffee O.P 😆 Some difficult choices need to be made in life.
