Life has a funny way of winding 
Paths you never thought you’d take
are taken 
Places you never thought you’d see
are etched into memory

Looking back
I notice every twist and turn – 
the vistas of peace
and desolate deserts of despair

I realise 
my love was always moving 
slowing trickling its way through 
continually churning 
and running towards you

    1. What a delightful comment. I’m glad you like the poetry. It took me far too long to finish this one. Eventually I realised (like take in a photo of a river), I needed to post it or I’d keep changing it forever 😜
