Battle-beaten 
upon thy knees 
Hollowed out 
by broken dreams

Beneath the stone
the way is lost
and soul is turned
towards the cross

Renew the path 
ignite the light
give strength to bone
and heal the blight

From humble petition
to glory rise
Fire awakens 
in opened eyes

Renewed with faith 
to fight again 
Praise be to God 
forever, amen
