The connection between us is hard to define
You treasure me
I delight in you
within the cocoon of what we’ve created
It’s easy to be together
as we don’t have conflicts –
shielded from relationship drama
because that title doesn’t fit
Perhaps we won’t bloom
beyond what we are now –
but I value the seeds we’ve sown
during hours of conversation
Experts say love has many forms
and I know it’s true when I’m with you –
a connection beyond convention
doesn’t need a label to be authentic
All I know is…
when you are here
when I am here
and we are here together
it’s magical
