If your cruel behaviour taught me anything 
it’s that I’m a fighter 
I may have been crushed 
but I grew despite your destruction – 
I stood without you

I pushed my roots deeper 
strengthening my core against the harshness of life 
healing the wounds you left –
I’m stronger without you

I’m blooming now  
glowing in this space 
becoming something more beautiful 
and vibrant 
all without you – 
I’m blooming without you
