Call out to me my Love,
Help me remember who I am.
I have lost my way and it is too dark for me to see.
Reach past my walls and comfort me,
For all the world feels cold.
Before I waste away, please my Love,
Remind me of the life still inside my veins.
My strength has disappeared and I have forgotten who I was.
I know you can not fix me, but you can fill my heart with love.

Exactly: “I know you can not fix me, but you can fill my heart with love.” And maybe having that love is enough to not worry about needing to be fixed. I appreciate the sentiment of this piece.

This is a stunning poem! So heartfelt. Often, only the right person can pull us out of the mirage we create for ourselves. I love the last sentence. Great job!

I remember the emotions I felt when writing this one… Glad to hear they have stood the test of 6 months and still carry the same.
