I need some extra courage
to face the day ahead
When all I really want to do
is spend the day in bed
I need to dust this sleep off
put my feet upon the floor
Get my shit together
and head out the front door
I need some extra courage
to do the things I should
Realise that this mood of mine
won’t do me any good
I need to shift my focus
not lie here in a heap
It’s time to get out of my bed
and face the working week
