Minute survival

Just one more minute and then a hundred more,

I sure hope I can survive them all.

I must make it through even though time slows down,

But there is so long to go, I hope I don’t drown.

Tick, tick, tick, tick

I feel stuck in time, stuck in this horrible noise and the constant demands on me.
