Girls Night

Let’s dress up
Put on our favourite black dresses
Darken the eyes and brighten the lips

Let’s catch a cab
Talk about our highs and lows
Discuss the sweet eyes we’ve seen recently

Let’s get a booth
A round of cocktails to start
Enjoy the freedom and comfort together

Let’s go dance
Show each other our favourite moves
Feel the music in our wild feminine souls

Let’s relax
Talk to a flirty someone
Send encouraging winks across the room

Let’s head home
Compare notes and share stories
Shoes in our hands and hearts in the clouds

Let’s say goodnight
Hugs and promises to call tomorrow
Hearts filled with delight from our latest girls’ night

  1. My last girls night out, like really out, was about four years ago. It was a kind of goodbye party. It was so fun! This poem brings back those wonderful friendship memories of the joy of being in a group of gals, we mostly danced in a circle and thrived off each others’ energies. πŸ‘―β€β™‚οΈπŸ‘―β€β™‚οΈπŸŽ‰πŸ™Œ Thanks for sharing this one! πŸ’žπŸ’žπŸ‘
